Is a trial necessary?
Absolutely! At your trial we determine your final look & it gives you the chance to see exactly how you will look on the day.
Most of the hard work is done at the trial - we do a consultation first to discuss ideas & look at pictures to help me get an idea of what you like .There is no time limit to the trial (but expect a minimum of 2 hrs), either I'll stay until we have created a look you are happy with or should you come to the salon then you will stay until we have created your look.

Can I book a trial for other members of the wedding party?
Yes you can the trial price will be the same for each person.

It is only me who wants to have my make up done, is that ok?
Yes of course!

I need a trial in the day can you do this?
Yes, this is my full time job & I will book your appointment(s) around you & your commitments.

I don't wear much make up normally - I'm worried I won't look like me!
I hear this so often! Make up parties and cosmetic counters have a lot to answer for! You dictate the look you want to achieve, I just apply it! I take into account your preferences during the consultation. To put it simply, you will look how you want to look not how I would like you to look!  And we can always try something else if you don't like it.

I was going to go to my local cosmetic counter, is that a good idea?
Not in my opinion, the sales assistants are not professional industry make up artists & work for a commission on what they sell; of course there are exceptions to every rule but generally you are better to have your make up applied by someone who is qualified and has no agenda, along with your best interests at heart.

What make up do you use?
I use the best products for the job, mainly SuperCover, Makeup Forever, Screen Face, Temptu, MAC, Yabay, Nixie & Dinair along with many other professional brands/products. They are all professional ranges & as a professional make up artist, I can access products that aren't available to the general public. All of these brands, products or ranges are used by many professionals in fashion & media because of there staying power & the fact they look flawless in photo shoots!

Do you work for a make up company?
No! I work freelance so I'm totally independent & I don't represent any brand - this means any advice I give you is totally impartial.

What if I want to buy the products you use?
Then I will take your order to get them for you - you are under no obligation to buy any products from me.  I DO NOT retail MAC though.

When should I book my trial?
Whenever you like! It is best to wait until you have finalised your colour schemes though. I will reserve your wedding date at the time of the trial unless you forward me a cheque deposit to secure your date. Brides are notoriously well organised & I'm taking bookings for 12 months from now so you should bear this in mind.

How can I be sure I'll get the date I want?
I ask for a booking fee/deposit of 20% of the total cost per wedding, which is none refundable but, on completion of your wedding day make up will be deducted from your final bill; the deposit will reserve the dates for your Trial and your Wedding day to ensure no one else has your day.

Why is the deposit none refundable?
This is because on receiving your deposit I will then reserve your date straight away even if you book one year in advance.  I don't refund it for this purpose, for example if you change your mind before your wedding this means that others who wanted the same date lose out as well as my incurred loss of business.  I do however deduct any deposit from your final bill on your wedding day.

My wedding is themed; can you do make up to suit & still make me look fantastic?
Of course, I don't only do traditional make ups so if your wedding is themed i.e. 1920's or medieval I can do your make up to fit with your dress and you will still look amazing on your wedding day.

I'm not the bride, but still would like make up done for a wedding.  Can you help?
Yes I can you don't have to be the one getting married to have your make up done.

Do you only do wedding make up?
No I work professionally in the make up industry, doing anything from fancy dress to celebrities. I will do make up for any occasion you want to look extra special for. I can also teach you privately how to apply your make up for any event, on a one to one basis or be employed as a lecturer in make up.

Wedding Packages

Not only do I offer a make up package, but also you can organise to have your Nails looked after with a Manicure or Extensions and have them Hand painted for the big day.  A Facial routine to get your skin into the best possible condition or even a Tanning package to have a fake one done.

You choose, it's your day and you want the attention on you and your new husband.  So attention to details sees that nothing is over looked.
